Moving toward a greener office

In an effort to become even more eco-conscious, Mike Tissier, Monica Tissier, Mark Schmidt, and Diego Salas of JetScape Copier & Cartridge all attended a three day intensive Managed Print Service seminar at the World Expo in Las Vegas last month.

Managed Print Service (MPS) is a great strategy to cut costs and waste within a company. Printing costs account for 3-5% of a companies’ overhead. It gives a company the ability to document when, where and how much they are printing, as well as complete supply management. It eliminates companies having to stock toner, and waste space, because their MPS provider will know in advance what and when they need toner and send it out accordingly.

This is just a touch of what was learned at the conference. The amazing amount of waste that will be reduced simply by being able to track use will be astounding for any company willing to adopt this relatively new strategy.
